Monthly progress update #7 - Before August ends


Not much has been done in terms of major breakthroughs and demo update releases, but I have now laid a proper ground for a barely functioning isometric overworld and even made some new graphic assets (shown on the cover)! Subjecting myself to a 20-hour longplay of Megaman Battle Network sure helped motivate me to do so. Aiming for an update release around October now, but once again, life matters (or even missiles) may kick in at any time and delay the process even further; in case something happens to obstruct my workflow, I will definitely post a notice here. 

Please let me know in the comments of any other interesting isometric 2D games you can recommend checking out!


P.S. I've recently been thinking of joining this year's GBA Jam as part of a team a lot, but I doubt anyone might be in need of my weird complicated game ideas combined with my less-than-mediocre drawing and programing skills. Unless, of course, someone is looking for a jam teammate who can do just that.
